The award winners Takehisa Yaegashi and Yuichi Fujii came to Göteborg to receive the award. In connection with their visit a seminary on hybrid technology was held at the Lindholmen Science Park. The seminary was arranged in cooperation with the Energy Authority and the Göteborg Environmental Science Centre. It was well attended and highly appreciated.

The award winners talked about their work with hybrid technology and what they expect to see in the future. Some of the speakers at the seminary were Professor Mats Alaküla, representatives from AB Volvo, Volvo Cars and SAAB.

The award winners also visited Lundby Mobility Center and Volvo Cars.

The awards ceremony was held at Stora Teatern. The award was presented by Minister for the Environment, Andreas Carlgren, and the guest speaker was Jan-Eric Sundgren, Director at AB Volvo with responsibility for social and environmental issues. The award party was held at Stora Teatern.
