On this special day our award winners will receive their prizes at a festive ceremony in Göteborg. The day will be full of different activities, among them our award winners will visit schools where the media is invited to join them.

We will also hold seminaries based on the “Sustainable Cities” theme with exciting challenges regarding transportation, housing and energy.

The festive award ceremony in the evening includes speeches and entertainment. The Chairman of the Jury, Stefan Edman, will present this year’s award winners and the jury’s motivation for their selection. Anders Wijkman is the ceremony’s keynote speaker and he will place the award winners and this year’s theme in a global perspective.
